MUSIC WITH LUNCH, 8TH MARCH

Music with (or without) Lunch! Extending the hospitality for which Charlton Church is known, we present two wonderful Kent musicians: the engaging flautist Rebecca Jackson with debonair pianist Spencer Payne, alongside a delicious light lunch!

While away a Spring afternoon listening to a delightful mixed programme of classical and lighter music: Bach, Poulenc, Bizet, Kern (Smoke gets in your Eyes), Youmans (Tea for Two), Chopin, Piazolla, Debussy's beautiful Syrinx - and more. An hour's lovely music in the glorious acoustic of Charlton Church, interspersed with refreshments.

Seating for lunch is limited - book quickly! Or book just to sit back and enjoy the music - tea / coffee included.

THE ICKHAM ENSEMBLE

Charlton Fine Arts glorious season 03 resumes on 29th March with an appearance by The Ickham Ensemble. Familiar faces Kokila Gillett-Khan and Helen Crayford will be joined by cellist Anita Strevens to perform three remarkable piano trios from some of the giants of 19th century music, two Czechs Dvorak and Smetana, and one Russian, Arensky. 

This is an excellent opportunity to hear this powerful repertoire, and where better than in the grandeur and superb acoustic of Charlton Church! 

The church will be open from 2.30pm for drinks, and light refreshments will be served.
